In the last blog, I talked about making tough decisions. I have made the difficult decision to discontinue the Kadcyla treatments. I have faith in this answer that I received through prayer and my intuition. I trust this decision and stand confidently in it. But it is easy sometimes to doubt ourselves, isn’t it? To not listen to what our intuition is telling us. To have faith when we don’t know what the future holds. Life often calls us to make that leap of faith.
Faith: complete trust or confidence in someone or something
I have faith in my Creator. I also have faith in my inner voice of awareness. We were created with intuition; that gut feeling. When you ponder a decision, how does it feel in your gut? Does it feel good, positive, inspiring? Or does it make you feel uneasy, sad, disempowered? Pay attention to those feelings. They are there to help guide you on the right path for your highest good. If a decision feels right to you, do not let the opinions or responses of others influence it. Ultimately, it is your life and what you do with it is up to you. Do what brings you joy, peace and inspiration. Do what feels right in your spirit. Do what increases the love in your heart.
The further I am out from the last treatment, the better I feel. Still some residual side effects that I trust will completely resolve with time. I continue to focus on the positive, and I am envisioning what I want the next chapter in my life to look like. It looks wonderful! Retirement is drawing closer which will allow more time to do the things that feed my soul: Getting out in nature, photography, visiting family and friends, traveling, reading, exploring new places, gardening…oh the possibilities!
